Disney Store launches its first mobile application for iOS devices, available for free at the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch or at www.itunes.com/app/disneystore. So, what does that mean? Well, basically, shopping for Disney Store products has never been so convenient!

Disney Princess Designer Doll Collection Release Announcement

Dear Disney Store Guests:

As you may be aware, our new limited edition Disney Princess Designer Doll Collection has generated a good deal of excitement.  While many of you love the new dolls, you have also expressed frustration in securing your favorite Princess, and brought to our attention ways we could make the process fair for all Guests.  We want you to know that we read your comments on Facebook, saw your Tweets, and our Cast Members have told us what they heard from our Guests who visited our Stores.

Quantities of these dolls are very limited, and we realize that not everyone will be able to get the doll of their choice even with a new process in place. Our aim is to increase the chances of as many of our Guests as possible to obtain the dolls that they are seeking. Therefore we have updated our release plans as follows: 

• We will now release for purchase all 5 remaining Disney Princess Designer Dolls: Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas on one date in Stores on 10/17/11. 
• We will then have a Disneystore.com release of all 5 Disney Princess Designer Dolls: Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas, the following day on 10/18/11, at a time to be determined – the time will be released here, on the Buzz, continue to check back for updates.   
• We will be limiting the purchase to one doll per Princess, per Purchasing Guest. This limit applies both in-store and at Disneystore.com. NOTE: Purchasing Guests are Guests present at Store age 17 and older.
• We will implement a line queue and ticketing procedure (first come, first served) in Stores on the release date and the dolls will be sold at store opening.
• Guests that are not successful in obtaining the Princess Doll of their choice at the Stores will be able to try on 10/18/11 at Disneystore.com.

This past weekend, Disney Store launched three new city specific Vinylmation series. The three series include: 9" Bridges Vinylmation exclusively sold at the Times Square Disney Store in New York, 9" Kaleidoscope Vinylmation exclusively sold at the Stockton Street store in San Francisco, and 3" Windy City Vinylmation exclusively sold at the Michigan Avenue store in Chicago.

At the San Francisco Stockton Street and New York City Times Square stores, we celebrated the launches with Vinylmation Artist signings.

The Buzz was able to capture some photos of the signing festivities at the Stockton Street Disney Store with Vinylmation Artist, Enrique Pita.

This week, The Buzz is thrilled to present to you, Snow White. This elegant Designer Collection Snow White doll was carefully crafted by Disney artists to re-imagine the magic and style of the classic Disney Princesses. Inspired by the iconic fashions of these beloved characters, this limited edition Snow White doll was brought to life with thoughtful attention to detail to uniquely capture the essence of the Disney Princess, creating a one of a kind doll collection that will be a treasured keepsake of collectors, Disney fans, and every princess at heart!

The Snow White Designer Doll features Snow White done up with dramatic make-up and rooted eyelashes. A red jeweled bow headband tops her beautiful dark hair. She wears a beautiful halter style dress with shirred bust and blue rhinestones on bodice, full skirt and flowy cap.

Yesterday, over 300 guests waited in line to unlock their way into the newly-designed Disney Store at Saint Louis Galleria in St. Louis, Missouri. Cast Members and Guests shared a special morning unlocking the store and exploring the new, interactive experiences inside.

New Tri-City Specific Vinylmation Series Launch THIS SATURDAY: San Francisco, New York & Chicago

The Buzz is excited to announce this Saturday, September 17, Disney Store will launch three new city specific Vinylmation series. The three series include: 9" Bridges Vinylmation exclusively sold at the Times Square Disney Store in New York, 9" Kaleidoscope Vinylmation exclusively sold at the Stockton Street store in San Francisco, and 3" Windy City Vinylmation exclusively sold at the Michigan Avenue store in Chicago.

To celebrate the launch, Disney Store Stockton Street and Times Square will be opening the store early at 8am on September 17 for Vinylmation artist signings. Vinylmation artist, Enrique Pita, will be present for signings from 8am-11am at Stockton Street and Oskar Mendez will be signing from 8am-11am at Times Square.

In addition, for those visiting Stockton Street or Times Square, Disney-Pixars CARS two-figure set featuring Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater will be available for purchase. The set will be released nationally on September 19.

We kindly ask that fans do not line up prior to 7:00 am. Oskar and Enrique will sign only figures that they designed themselves. There will be a purchase limit of two (2) 9” Vinylmation figures per guest and signing limit of two (2) figures per guest, while supplies last (Note – talent appearance is subject to change without notice).
