New Photo Series! Glendale Galleria Disney Store Sneak Peek

By Official Disney Store Blogger, Apr 04, 2012 11:00 AM

Greetings, Buzz readers!

Today I am pleased to introduce a new photo series on The Buzz, the Glendale Galleria Disney Store Time Lapse! It is always very exciting to celebrate the grand opening of a newly-designed Disney Store and see the “after”—but what about the “before”? What does it take to bring the magic to life?

For the next month I’ll be posting time lapse photos of the construction of our newly-design Disney Store in the Glendale Galleria Mall, located in none other than Glendale, CA. Take a visual tour through the installation of the iconic fixtures of our stores, from the character skylines to the princess castle.

The first part of our time lapse features the Tinker Bell-approved blue Pixie Path that leads Guests from the store entrance into the heart of the magic—the Disney Store Theater. I was on site to snap some photos of the very early stages of the Pixie Path installation as well as the initial “blank canvas” of the Disney Store interior.

Looks like they are well on their way to completing the Disney Store magic in time for the location’s grand opening on April 29th! Check back next week to see the next “installment” of our series—the character skyline and murals.
