Wish Week Begins Today! What Do You Wish For?

Disney Store is celebrating the grand opening of the newly-designed store in Glendale Galleria, located in Glendale, CA on Sunday, April 29th, which is also World Wish Day®.
What is World Wish Day®, you ask?
World Wish Day® is a global celebration of wish granting, with celebrations and events taking place in the 48 countries where Make-A-Wish® currently serves children. On this day, the very first wish was granted in 1980 to seven-year-old Chris Greicius, whose wish was to be a police officer. From this first wish sparked a global wish-granting movement that has lead to more than 290,000 granted wishes globally since that very first day. We here at Disney whole-heartedly believe in making dreams come true, so we hereby embark on a week-long celebration of wishes leading up to World Wish Day® 2012!
Disney Store has been a World Wish Day® sponsor since the inaugural year's celebration in 2010 and Disney Stores in the United States, Canada, and Europe host unique promotions in stores during the year to raise money to help make wishes come true.

This is so beautiful to see...Make a Wish was always one of my favorite foundations. They really make a positive impact on children and their families.

The Make A Wish Foundation is truly making a difference in so many lives. I am glad to see Disney supporting this wonderful organization! My wish is for the world to respect each others cultures & faith.

I wish to have a Fairy Princess wedding at Walt Disney World & for all my family to be there. Actually it will be our 30th Anniversary next year but we got married at the courthouse. So i didn't get to pick out any wedding stuff or walk down the ilse. I want to renew our wedding vows and have a real wedding.
